Yes he was the CFI at Cornwall. He sure liked his rum and coke! While in training we used to have some good evenings partying it up at his place. God Speed my good man!

This comes as a shock! Roger was a outstanding pilot and a very generous person. My regards to all his friends and family.

I had my flight test with him a while back, a day I will always remember, perhaps one of the most fun flights Ive had. I saw him again in the summer very briefly but was in too much a hurry to say hi, i regret that now.

God speed!

roger was the CFI at ceders airport, in vallyfeild. airport code was css3. roger was a special man. also he lost his DFTE which for some people belive was caused by the rum coke!! i had my commercial flight test with him. and he loved his spins. you know what i say now? keep spinning big guy.

I first met Roger when I was in air cadets in Cornwall. Some of the crew that were working for him as instructors were also involved with the cadets and used to use him for interview preps for the flying scholarship program. I liked him from the get go.

Later on I worked for him as an instructor at Laurentide after he moved there from Cornwall Aviation. He was a pleasure to work for and a good friend.

One of my best memories of Roger was driving the "sleigh" for him as he made the rounds to friends places at Xmas dressed up as Saint Nick...yes there was rum and coke involved! He also used to tell a funny story of the time he nabbed a guy trying to break into his car in front of his house on holloween. He tackled the guy and held him until the cops arrived. If memory serves me right, he said he was "in drag" as he was going out for halloween dressed as a lady. Anybody that knew Roger probably have quite the image in their head at this point.

Rest in peace Roger,

Andrew
