paying for time

i know programs exists in the states where you 'pay to fly'....

are there any programs like that in canada?

i meant a company. there are programs where you pay to be an F/O in the states for say a 777 if you have a type rating.

I was wondering if there are anything companys/programs that provide this service in Canada.

I'd undercut the medical industry. Tell em' you'd like to poney up some cash to do some surgeries.

theres a bunch of programs in the USA that do that.

usually 737, 757, a320, a340 etc.

nothing in canada.

I know the 737 ones you do not need US work auth

It probably does help the industry, but it certainly doesn't help pilots.

maybe its for fun, all other places do it all the time and their pilots are doing well....

eaglejet is one in the US i know some guys from europe who went through there program.

Explain "doing well". Does "doing well" mean Kraft Dinner every night? Is "doing well" telling girls at the bar that you're a pilot on a 757/767, then they become interested in you, but you can't even buy a drink? Or perhaps "doing well" means that even though you couldn't buy her a drink, you still managed to take her home and have un-protected sex because you couldn't afford the rubber?

As for the work visa comment. It's just that, a "work" visa, it's not work when you pay for it, that's why the US doesn't care if some European Commie comes and spends all his money.

Why don't you "do us well" and beat it.
