Calgary

I am heading to Calgary in May and I was looking for suggestions as to where in Alberta would be a good place to drop off a resume. I have the standard commercial, multi-ifr with about 260 hours.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks.

Pick up the Aviation Business Directory (Western). Excellent resource that lists operators, aircraft, key personnel, etc. Here's a link...

Good luck!

Head north, YYC is a pretty tough gig to land as your first flying job. But you never no, this is aviation.

I'd try everywhere. And try them again and again and again and...

That's what it'll take with no time...

Good luck - and remember they do hire guys with your time - give them a reason...

head north, yes you can land a job in YYC (tought but you can) but you're better off headed north working the ramp for a bit (if at all) and getting a job that will fly your brians out, not some corporate gig that will require you to ramp for a year then fly 500 hours/yr there after. Cowtown is not the place for low timers I've tried telling that to a few of the low timers working ramp/office for us!
