How employable?

Post by CJM »

Based on the current state of the industry, I'd like to know how employable people think a class 4 instructor MIFR is without any teaching experience and a decent reputation looking to work at other schools other than where all training has been done.

Thanks.

Back in the day. I started as an instructor without the Multi IFR and I was employed immediately. Finished the training and was working within the week.

I am most curious about whether or not you can expect to find work outside of where you did your instructor rating due to there being an excess of instructors at the school in which you trained.

Any response is appreciated, Thanks.

yes you can...get a yellow pages,(or use the internet....www.pilotcareercentre.com) find the flight training section, and start calling. I bet you'll have at least 2 interviews in the first couple hours of calling.

good luck.
