Never heard they went tits up but it was a long time coming. Working there was where I learned that aviation is like a pond...the scum rises to the top.

Sorry to hear RC is giving you grief. My limited understanding of the tax system is that the PPL can be written off if you are working towards the commercial. So you need to get a hold of your PTR showing that you are at least working towards the CPL. If Westpoint is gonzo then TC should have your PTR.

Try talking to them in YYC and see what they say. If not try calling the former owner directly...come to think of it with all the people he ripped of I'm sure his phone is unlisted...if the phone company will give him one that is...

Didn't they reform into another school? Wespoint was a YYC operation wasnt it? Try giving some of the local school's a ring. If there's info to be had, nothing beats local knowledge.

It is my understanding (and I may be wrong here) that a consortium took over westpoint and later changed the name to Regional One. They may have some of westpoint's records. Good luck.
