AC 777 and Lear over Vancouver

Post by snag »

Heard the new jet doing low photo passes with a lear in trail over town, and 8000' passes by whistler and blackcomb. Anyone get footage? Sounded like the guys were having too much fun.

I SAW IT! It was quite an impressive sight. I didn't have the slightest clue it was coming, then as I'm golfing northlands on the north shore it passes over, does a sweeping turn east of us then comes back...way to brighten up a shitty round of golf.

Didn't see it, but certainly heard about it on the radio. The stations were getting tons of calls with people thinking it was a military jet escorting an airliner due to a terrorism threat. Would have been a pretty cool sight to see though.

Does anyone know if the 777 is now in YVR?

How is spelling the man's name correctly considered anal? I think with all of William Lear's accomplishments it would be direspectful to just thrown down something close enough.

While we're on the subject.
Can someone please correct Blue Angles to Blue Angels in the thread about the crash?

It's been bugging me since the thread appeared but didn't want to be "anal"...

With all this anal talk, can someone tell me how to put the fire out from too many suicide chicken wings? I put the toilet paper in the freezer but it doesn't help.

Don't think it actually landed in YVR yesterday. Just did the photo trip round-trip from BFI. This is ACs second 777.....and was delivered today to YUL.....where else.

Thank you. I guess a similar thought is what set me off too considering I spent many of my developing years on lears.

Anyways, bottom line, no harm intended.
