Hmmm.......

Post by Sage »

Does anybody know what the entire board of directors at AC was doing in Seattle a few days ago???

A few days ago during a brief stopover in YVR, a Jazz FA made mention that JR was out that way with another big shot at Jazz. Apparently they were making their way down to Seattle to a meeting. While in Seattle, the gate agent mentioned that earlier in the day the entire board of directors at AC was over there just fresh from a meeting. They delayed the flight because there weren't enough seats in J class for the entire board and they wanted to wait until a conversion was done giving more seats in J for all of them.

I don't like spreading stuff but this one is too good to keep to myself.

They were entertained by The Boeing Company.
Visited Everett, they looked at a/c 633 in the paint hangar, toured the factory facility, went on a boat ride and left Seattle happy with the new purchase
of the 787.

Any new orders coming? Other than the additional 23 787s?

Hmm if what you say is correct then the AC BOD's should be sent out to pasture. I remember on many occasions that the then president of AC riding in economy refusing the flight crews efforts to upgrade him.

The old boys club is alive and well, what a shame..

Got that stuff directly from those people working...the FA that had JR onboard and from the gate agent that worked the AC flight that day. It sucks that the Board would take advantage like that.
