Now that I have your attention... anyone know how much a first year FO makes at jazz, and what kind of raise can be expected after the first year?and how many days off/ month you can expect.

36000 the first year followed by 42000 the next. you could expect 12 -14 days off a month as a junior pilot on reserve.

Status pay LT, doesn't matter if you are on the DHC-8-100, -300, or the jets.

"2000 pilots will retire in 2006, and many more in years to come"

Too funny !!! 2000 or 200?

Well at Jazz the number of furloughed pilots is exactly 118 with hopefully some being recalled in the near future. We presently have 10 CRJ aircraft with 8 new factory ones coming by the years end. In total by the end of 2006 we should have 65 CRJ aircraft on the property with quite a route structure covering all of Canada and many destinations in the US with jet service.

In a little over a month Jazz picks up the slack from the departure of Zip with us doing new return routes on the CRJ -YYZ-YWG (2 times a day) / YWG-YYC(4 times a day) / YOW-YWG (2 times a day)/ YYC-YYJ(3 times a day) / YWG-YUL (once a day)/ YYZ-YYG (3 times a day)/ YWG-YXE (once a day).

Some interesting times ahead.

Thrust set,
Is the 118 number due to recalls or have that many quit :?:
Or was my 140+ number wrong to start with?
Just wondering

TH
Last email said 55 bodies in first half of 2005 but that is only a plan we'll see if it happens I think it will depend on EMB 190 delivery dates...

I thought you needed glasses. Besides Pilots dont do drugs or flight attendants as they are both dangerous.
