CC does not offer a multiengine rating, but I think you are asking about the hours you get if you start with a multi & PPL? If that is the case I think those students have a "customized" syllabus drawn up to reflect previous training. Your end hours, if I am not mistaken, are the same, but I am guessing your multi hours wouldn't count when figuring your "starting" hours. Either way you are going to be 220 or so, plus whatever multi time you have going in. Sorry for the rambling - seems hard to type my thinkings today?
I have just graduated this amazing program. I have my cpl with a night rating, float rating (24 hrs) and some ski training on a 180. Where else can you skim the tree tops with your floats or tackle the frozen seas? It is not just about if you become a float pilot or ski pilot. I am an airline dreamer all the way, however the decision making and "real world" training is amazing. I have learnt so much on 24 hours of floats and 2 of ski's that all of my first 100 hours couldnt even top it! I have made my choice with Confed. I couldn't be happier!
It was always well off, it's just different now.
It's no longer at the Shebandowen seaplane base. Instead, they fly you Westjet or Jazz (they havent decided yet) to Toronto, then transported to Parry Sound where youll get 24 hours on a C180 with Georgian Bay Airways helping out a lot. You'll get the same training (rough, glassy etc) except its all on a 180 now.
That's it, Randy. We've finally sent more pilots off to Con College. That free trip to Toronto really lured in them shit-birds. Now if we could only get Ricky his grade 11, he might be able to be accepted in Con College, then Sunnyvale will be a great place to live again. What's say we get a little drinky-poo to celebrate?
Believe me, you should be more worried about making it through first and second semester. Just work hard and stay on top of things and you'll make it to floats and the funnest summer of your life.
