My eye's are turning teal
Is 3700 total time with a bunch of Multi PIC enough time for the matrix? WJ's the place I've wanted to be for a long time. Started doing some pretty hard core research into AC's, Jazz, and Westjet's overall corporate culture the last little bit just to ensure that WJ was definitely the place I wanted to be. I found it pretty amazing that on AC's website it was all very segregated information giving you the feel that you are just a number there and not part of a bigger picture or even part of a team. I found Jazz was trying but in the end still made the company feel cold. I have to give credit where credit is due the WJ website actually makes you want to work for the company and got me pretty pumped up. I know that's a pretty vague description but check it out if you aren't already with the green team. Anyway is there anything I can do to stand out or tailor my resume in order for the guys in the hiring department to be interested, or am i still shy on time?
Thanks
Thanks

I have a HAIR over 4000 hrs, submitted resume via Workopolis (through WJ site), contacted someone I knew in the company who submitted a "support form"(?) on my behalf and tah dah, got a phone interview. Physical interview is in a week and a half. I have the impression having someone on the inside submit some paperwork helps...don't know for sure.

Little known fact- The hiring team at WestJet has an open door policy on Wednesdays. If you don't know anyone there but are sure that you would be a great Westjetter I would recommend calling and letting them know that you would like to come in for a tour sometime. There is one person especially that you should talk to (I would say but giving out a name on a forum is uncouth) you should ask the front desk who that is. Trust me this is the best way! It worked for me!
hey Macho Macho Man how long after you got you internal refrences in did you get a call for a interview. I have the time and experience for Westjet and last week I made a few calls and got 3 internal refrences to fill out the online form for a refrence. Now its just sit and wait and hope for a call for an interview sometime soon!!!!!

I reviewed all the behavioural type questions folks think they will ask, period. Also, Gina will read reams of info to you about the company so you don't have any misconceptions. See the recent Air Canada thread by the dude who was hired as he lists about four billion behavioural questions, many of which I did not get, obviously (only got two for the phone interview).
