New Pilot Question

i'm fresh out of flight school (not some diploma program, i paid my dues and worked ramp through the whole thing just joshing the diploma grads) now I've been looking for jobs for a month or two now and have recieved 1 phone interview and thats it. I have the option of keeping with applying to every ad on this site (and a couple of others) or my instructor has guaranteed me a position at the school if i get my instructor rating (schools expanding new fleet, international students etc.) problem is i'm reluctant to spend another 7-8K. should i take the offer or keep looking

Do what makes you happy.

I would suggest a road trip. You may get lucky, you may not. Instructing is not for everyone.

well thanks for the input, i start my instructor rating on monday. and i'll be working by august.

Carefull on that one, your instructor doesn't do the hiring

whens he's the CFI of a 1 instructor school he does. and no, i'm not at the NS flight centre though they are hiring a bunch too, because of the cadets they are getting

and he's in charge of hiring the new instructors he needs (2) and i know the owner of the flight school as well, two new flight instructors have been improved and its the CFI's choice who he picks. He's got one student just finishing hes instructor rating and me those are the two he hiring.

road trip, with those hours the job isn't coming to you, get out there and camp on some CP lawn till he hires you.
