Voyageur Airways
Not too long ago, I heard that Voyageur Airways are hiring Vancouver and Oversea apprentices. I am just wondering if anyone here are working for them in those areas now and what are the conditions like in those oversea areas. Also, I would really like to give it a try as an apprentice in those areas. Is there maybe someone I can contact so I can get an interview?
Thanks for the help in advance.

There isn't much luck in Vancouver but overseas they are in need. And are in the middle of changing the scheduling format. (For the Better Hopefully)

Act interested, know something about the company(all about the UN Stuff) You can find the info on other threads. Have your references ready, If your willing to travel your probably a shoe in. Yes there is a bad rap for this company. For an apprentice though it's pretty good. Tell them you want to work line. Then you'll have your log book filled out in no time.
Good Luck

Absolutely amazing anyone is considering working for them, with the market being as busy as it is, and the awesome reviews they get.
I guess it boils down to one's self worth as to who wants to work for companies like this. with that value apparently not being set very high..
crazy.

Well I am an apprentice, and I want to see the world when I am young, the way i see it this is the best way to do it, even if i would have to put up with some crap....they gave me 2 months in 1 month out. That and I cant judge a company solely by what a few people may say. That said I have set limits to what I will and wont put up with.

If you think its wrong to judge companies by what a "few" say, why do you come on here asking for info on employers, conditions etc?
In case you had'nt noticed, the replies concerning this company are overwhelmingly negative, and they're hardly few.
Here's some recent comments from the bus drivers. http://www.avcanada.ca/forums2/viewtopic.php?t=29926 just in case the comments here don't convince. Same shitty company, no matter how selecive ones hearing/comprehension are.
Good Luck sonny...

Dashx
dashx,
I just finished the interview in Vancouver. It was a surprise. I got interviewed by 3 people. Things were going ok, I assume. It's just some questions regarding ATA I couldn't answer. The questions are like what's chapter 23 or 32 in ATA?
As I was told, the schedule was flexible and the pay depends on the experience. So I can't give any details more than that.
Does anyone know any company in Lower Mainland Area that are willing to take in an apprentice? Thanks in advance.

Do you want to work in Africa, Afganistan, or East Timor? 2 months out 2 months off or 2 months out 1 month off? Do you want to work on D-7 D-8 or RJ's?
Oh wait what did I just say? Oh yes......Be yourself be honest.....
And of course......we all know now that you need to know your ATA chapters...(and correct spelling seems to be a requirement)
