License type ATP (Airline Transport License only after 1500 hours and flight test by CAA
What does the CAA requirment mean? Is it internationally recognised?

Since you didn't cite your source, CAA can mean many things-- for example Canadian Automobile Association.

However, given the snippet of context you gave it, I assume it could mean the UK governing body for aviation (I believe "Civil Aviation Authority").

In England I believe they refer to the CAA as the "Campaign Against Aviation" :lol:

I thought CAA was the governing body for any country

CAA france CAA England CAA Africa.... etc...

JAA is the CAA's rolled into one?
