Left wing or Right wing

Post by Jeppesen »

I was given this "test" in class here in Canada. Nobody expected to be where they ended up being, specially after they where asked if they were either left or right wing supporters.

http://www.politicalcompass.org/questionnaire

Here are my results:

Economic Left/Right: -6.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.44

Check also the graph with personalities. I'm close to Gandhi

As a rule though I prefer wearing black.

I'm not really sure where mine put me in proximity to anyone else but it has confirmed yet again that I'm right and that everyone else is wrong.

But some of those so called questions/statements were BS.

Such as:

A significant advantage of a one-party state is that it avoids all the arguments that delay progress in a democratic political system.

Yeah, of course it's an advantage! BUT there's no friggin' way it outweighs the disadvantages. Corruption, no checks and balances etc.

This had to be made up by some idiot 2nd year poli-sci student.

I take it with a grain of salt. Even though I AM GANDHI, BABY!!!

Agreed. Some of the statements are fishy and are again based on people falling in pre-determined categories where believing one thing automatically entails believing another... Entertaining nonetheless. I am a Gandhi with right wing tendencies.
