No, but your reluctance to extrapolate certainly makes it sound like a one off pissy-rant.
You not a fan of telling ATC what your "expedited rate of descent" will be? Come on, it's not that hard. I'm just trying to help, but christ, it's like pulling teeth. Maybe you don't want to be helped or understand the concept of "working together".

I was wrong with the way I approached this forum but I do appreciate the comments.
In that situation should I offer a rate that I can comfortably decend at or ask what would be the required rate that they need.
have not seen this situation much.
Spent alot of time up north we always resovlved our own conflicts, or just turned off the radios.

Wow, this topic wont die will it?!?!
Jerrico, you usually dont get caught up into these types of threads...you usually come on after all the winging has gone on with calming words(assuming youre the same Jerrico on pprune).
Tofo....never, and I mean NEVER refuse a clearance! If you get something you cant do....just tell the controller you arent able so an alternative can be woked out. ( just a kind piece of advice) To be really honest.....PA31 pilots and the like dont have much respect for busy approach controllers trying to deal with a bunch of jets and one Navajo ....you may not like it but its the truth. If you come off on the radio with a flat out refusal just see what happens....go on....I dare ya....hehehe just kidding.
But seriousely, like I said before, a PA31 does not fit well in most scenerios and it will always be the instinct of an approach controller to get you on the ground ASAP and out of his/her hair....thats where the expedite comes from most the time. Do your best, communicate when needed, and lets all work together....Savvy?
