in terms of coming back for AC, i have no idea, but flying in Europe, thats an amazing opportunity, and if the company will pay for the conversion i would say go for it..... again that just what i would do.

lifestyle. what do you want?

once a jazz youll probibly need to go to WJ by the time your ready to go to ac WJ will probibly have the 787's anyway and you'll make more money with WJ doing the same thing.

just an observation from an uninformed annonamise poster.

either way yours is a good delema to be in

There are many things more important than the type of airplane, the excitement of a new type soon wears off.

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no

After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

Couldn't agree more. You have to do some soul searching and some homework. Decide what lifestyle you want and then make your plans for it. Bigger isn't always better and if I may add, you become more of an expert on lifestyle as you get older. Having said that, I also think that the more variety at your disposal, the easier the lifestyle is achieved. I would think that's pretty self explanatory.

I agree with that too...I would fly a 172 if it had the right lifestyle. The aircraft is not yours to keep, but what's at home waiting for you is!!

Huh?

Air Canada = 270+ new hires in 2007, 200+ in 2008
WestJet = 130+ in 2007, 100+ in 2008
Jazz = 200+ in 2007, 200+ in 2008
Sunwing,FirstAir,CanadianNorth,etc, all hiring.
Corporate is booming, 3rd teer all hiring at experience levels well below anything in Canadian aviation history (Georgian,Bearskin,Perimeter,NAC,Wasaya).

Not the most accurate post I have come across.

going to Europe to fly the 737 would be a great opportunity for experience plus having a 737 endorsement doesn't hurt either.....the acceptance rate for Air Canada from Jazz has been in the neighbourhood of 10% or less.....so the odds are against you if you go to Jazz.

I'd take the euro offer anytime, if of course pays respectable salary for the aircraft type...if its on par, I'd still take a euro deal.
