Well it is correct info. They have that incentive program posted on the website with progression from a fresh student right on through but from what I see personally that is not what actually happens. How is this going to motivate me, their student, to want to become an instructor there if I can already see that this plan doesn't appear to be put into action and they hire outside the company first and not only that but with over 1000 hours less than they have posted as the plan for instructors to move onto the 1900.

"GFT also offers competitive wages for all class instructors and has adopted an incentive program for Instructors to make a transition to the airline side of the industry with its sister company EVAS Air flying a Beech 1900D. GFT gives consideration to all instructors/employees that want to make this progression as outlined in the Company Operations Manual."

Facts: There have only been 2 instructors that have been offered the 1900 in the past. They only put them on part time and made them work at the school after thier shifts on the beech...They got screwed out of full time positions as promised by outsiders and buggered off like I would have done...The other instructor for the A100 quit a while back and they were so stuck that they wanted him to do part time work and then offered him the 100 position. No other instructor has gone through the completion of this graduation program, as it has not been there for very long, but I am still cautious...Nothing is ever written in stone there, and if it is, it can easily be sanded away without discussion...I don't know what the pay is there right now, but I heard that they did increase it. It is a somewhat disorganized place, with not enough personell there to do the jobs that need to be done..That is how these places make thier money, by working people till they cannot handle it anymore, they quit, they hire new, then the cycle continues...I've seen it there before a hundred times. I am anxious to see how this plays out...apparently two of thier guys ther now on the 1900 have interviews at jazz and they only have a short supply of crew flying these airplanes....We will see if any of the senior instructors actually get offered a ground school and PPC like thier program says they will....I'm gonna go on record and say that they won't! Now that everyone is educated, please, proceed to gossip some more.

How reliable is your information? I can name names but I know there are more than two that made it through and are full time.

As reliable as yours...I think maybe one more guy has finally been offered a full time position on the 1900, but he was still instructing part time while he was flying before that...How reliable is your information niwre...

well niwre I know that 7S's info sounds more reliable than yours. There may be former instructors flying the 1900 but they never instructed at GFT. There is currently only one former GFT instructor flying the 1900, the first 2 left over a year ago.

Left there March 07 worked there six months. I have a general idea of who worked and is working there. Sorry if you feel my info is unreliable.
