Don't anyone tell Alan Rock (the stupid f*ck responsible for implementing the registry, against all logic to the contrary) that it isn't working...

Reference a double murder in Grand Bend, Ont. this weekend, where they are now searching for a 22yr old suspect:

"...A Remington rifle and a Remington shotgun had been stolen during a break-in from a residence not far from where the Regiers lived..."

Bundled along with the registry were new regulations regarding firearm storage. They are supposed to be in a locked case. I wonder if these weapons were properly stored? If not, I wonder if the gun's rightful owners can/will be charged?

In any case, this is yet another instance of why the registry is idiotic. Criminals don't register guns, and they certainly wouldn't use one of their own registered guns to commit a crime.

These bastards come in to our homes rob us blind including properly store firearms and what happens? The useless, no good for nothing, oxygen wasting, piece of shit gets a slap on the wrist. While the gun owner is made to be responsible for being robbed.

There is something seriously wrong with our justice system. It needs to grow some cojones and give these losers some serious time.

Prisons are full...build more. The money wasted on the registery could of built a few.

Actually, as long as the weapons are not restricted, they may be in locked case or rendered "safe" by use of a cable/trigger/breech type lock. Of what your average Canadian is permitted to own, only restricted firearms (pistols and some long arms - mostly those "evil baby killing black things") are required to be inside a lockable, robust case. Personally, I err on the side of caution and keep them all inside an appropriate secured container.

Just to prove that the inmates really and truly have taken over the asylum, the second guy arrested for the murder of the eleven year old in Toronto on the weekend had been let go on a charge of a drive-by murder of a four year old, two years ago. He admitted to committing the murder, but the judge threw the case out of court because he said the confession had been coerced by the police.

He must be a police informer as the police usually do not make that kind of stupid error by chance .
Once the guys he hung with have time to figure it out how they got to jail and he did not .He will be doomed.
Maybe the police will let it slip he was a great help with thier inquiries and he will be ..........
