Logging time.
If you were abducted by space aleins and travelled to a far galaxy and back and they let you sit behind the controls, how would you log it?
It is not cross country or local so what would you log?
And would TC let you use it towards a higher license?

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no
After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

Hello, Cat...
The answer is, you can log anything you want in you log book. If you wish to keep track of how many times you use the in-flight washroom facilities, feel free.
It is not a requirement, of course. Well, at least not at the present time.
The requirements for logging of flight time can be found in CARS 401.08 here: http://www.tc.gc.ca/CivilAviation/Regse ... htm#401_08
As far as the alien flight time is concerend, you can log it, but you cannot use it towards a higher licence unless that civilization/planet is recognized by ICAO.
I hope this helps!

PS: Is there anything you want to tell us?

Re: Logging time.
Sorry Cat, you can't count that towards your recency time unless you did 5 touch and goes while at the controls!Cat Driver wrote:If you were abducted by space aleins and travelled to a far galaxy and back and they let you sit behind the controls, how would you log it?

Glad to hear that the Cub is close enough to completion that you have to get recurrent!
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you!
