geez, thanks, but i have let my guitar callouses peel off... but still sing, currently remaking Bruce Springsteen tunes into my own... oh yeah, and that silver thing is still around... :D

EDIT:
oh - you asked what we own? yikes...
accordian, flute, guitar, multiple Irish whistles, indian flutes, Ocharinas, tenor sax, mini percussive things, keyboard, piano, an old pump organ has my name on it, and a mic and stand.... and of course, tambourines... ooh, and a bodrhan... and a fiddle...and a sampler box... but i still consider my larynx my "main" instrument. so portable.

i used to make a suplemental living at music, so to speak

hey - didn't i ask people if we were going to start an AVBand a while back?

This thread reminds me of a Stompin' Tom song "Luke's Guitar". "That woman of mine will be in a box of pine, before I hock my old guitar". My musical talents were limited to the trumpet and the glockenspiel. But with a few drinks, when my english degrades into its flocked melange of franglais - I'm playing the spoons with a passion!

My english takes a severe hit with a few drinks as well. I just don't have a second language for it to blend into.

Any guitar gear-heads out there in the Calgary/Edmonton area got a decent ring modulator they want to part with? Preferably a Gonkulator.

I recently had the great pleasure of getting my hands on a few CD's made by water wings and her friends during her previous life! What can I say but, WOW! I'd love to hear some of your reworked Springsteen!

I thought the clitar was also known as a mouth organ

When played right it should be a religious moment as they are always lots of " ÖH GODS'" in there when done right

Any good blues people in YZF?

Looking for a drummer, signer, guitar, keyboards and bass players to put together The Great Slave Blues Band, or Crosswind Joe and the Sucker Holes.

Also a place to make noise at times with nobody throwing boots at us.

Please PM if interested

Have played the alto sax for the past 20 years or so. I probably could make a coulple of bucks if I hung out at the Granville St skytrain station. Good way to supplement my flying income. Trying to teach myself the acustic guitar but having a bitch of a time trying to blow into the hole to make a sound. The clitar is sounds like fun. How long do you have to play it before it makes a sound?
