A friend of mine who interviewed beginning of June in CYVR was called yesterday with a job offer. I still have heard nothing ...but either good or bad I think a response will be coming soon.

Hard work spotlights the character of people: some turn up their sleeves, some turn up their noses, and some don't turn up at all.

First off, it's not your place or you'd be there. Perhaps it's your misguided sense of entitlement that flagged you on the psych test? I'm sure AC already has their quota of biz jet heroes.
ususally, it's just speed, and momentum management that new guys have the biggest issue with. Engines are simple, easier to operate than any piston or turboprop.
Interviewed near the middle of June, still no answer. Called up the recruitment lady who contacted me for the interview and asked if there was any word yet. She told me that "it's summertime, things are working slowly, give it two more weeks", and that "I can't access your file".
Since the interviewers told me to make sure I contact someone if 8 weeks went by with no answer, who would I contact if not someone in recruitment? Any ideas?
If the process is as descibed above (ie. a "points" system), it would appear I sucked ass compared to my fellow interviewees, but maybe didn't suck THAT hard. Guess I'll find out soon.

I also interviewed at the end of July and no word yet, nor have my references been checked. I dont think my fingers will ever come back to the normal position after being crossed for so long.
Meanwhile I am keeping the dog at the front door chasing away the mailman who might come with some bad news.
Good luck for all !
I did my interview june 5th and got the call june 19th. They called my references in the morning and i received the call at home in the afternoon the same day.
