Way too many variables to really give you an answer. I won't even ask you what types cause it will give away what operation. If you want PM me and I can try to answer stuff..

AME to aircraft ratio

Post by Bulawrench »

I think most of us like to see enough skilled staff to take care of most maintenance functions that are throw our way. I was to understand that Transport would like to see one skilled guy ( or girl these days) for every two aircraft. Having said that, at times there is never enough. The key to the equation is to have good team members. This is not to say there isn't a place for the apprentices to become skilled and be apart of the team building. Another key aspect is to have very good management of the skill that is availible. Treat people well and they will be your ace in the hole.
