Brazil's TAM orders four Boeing 777s

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - The Boeing Company announced that an order from Brazil's TAM Airlines for four additional 777-300ERs brings to 1,003 the number of 777s ordered since the first order of the widebody plane in 1990; financial details were not disclosed.

The company added that the announcement also means that, so far in 2007, Boeing (nyse: BA - news - people ) has received orders for 100 of the 777s
