Are there any 737 drivers or AME on this forum who can answer this question??
In Summer 2006, C6 was doing YUL-SXM for Transat Holidays.....
The route was a disaster......The only aircraft that could make SXM was the lone 733 in the fleet. I was told that the 733 was forced to fly 290 feet because the APU was broken??? @ 290 feet, the 733 could not make it direct to SXM so it had to make fuel stop @ NAS..
Ultimately they put the 735. It did not have the range to go direct SXM, so it had to make a fuel stop in NAS also.....Leading to huge delays, pax forced to overnight extra day in SXM, long flights, etc....
What were the specifics with the broken 733 being forced to fly 29,000???
Thanks in advance
Just trying to keep the 1000 drive alive!
Asking a pilot about what he thinks of Transport Canada, is like asking a fire hydrant what does he think about dogs.
