New Company flying 1900 out of YWG
Hey,
Heard a rumour of a new company forming flying 1900D's out of the Shell at YWG! Flying to YIV and YST? Competition for Perimeter and another rumour that they were paying their F/O's $50,000! Any info?

Skynorth has a 1900 now but I'm pretty sure their FOs don't make that much

Maybe we pay for the gas with food mail and other contracts as well as fares. Ever thought of that one big guy?Doc wrote:Another government supported airline headed off to YST and YIV from the 'peg. My tax dollar, hard at work? If any of these airlines had to even buy the fuel with pax revenue, they'd be TU in a week! "Look at us! We're such a success!" Makes me want to puke!
Forgot to add, the CP over there makes a short mark to hit.....

The big P is going to pay for the gas with the money that they are saving from the pilots.
The new contract they are proposing is just amazing - 120 hrs per month on salary, among many other ways to save money.
This explains why the capt are leaving as fast as they can.
Heard a couple left for the supposed competion this week.
As for Sky North, the rumor is that the band has asked them to start flying a sked (that is where the 1900 comes in) they are tired of having to buy hearing aids.

lol "Bye Thompson CLICK" Man I think its hilarious that a company meeting held on labour day of all things is called to tell there pilots they have to work more for less money. Then have whoever was yaking on that speaker phone while in ear shot of there "Compitition" esentially tell an entire base to go @#$! themselves. Moral must be at an all time high over at the green machine between rampy's getting passed over on there senority list after spending two years on the ramp. Pilots told to work more for less, just wondering what people where thinkin as they drove home from that meeting on labour day passing right by the United Steelworkers Union BBQ, anyone stop by for a brochure and a hotdog?

work more for less - accurate
morale at an all time low - accurate
bonus system - not accurate (yet)
captains leaving as fast as they can - accurate
tired of having to buy hearing aids - maybe, the dash is quiet, but it is also very late
rampy's getting passed over for 2000 hour single engine pilots - accurate
fishing for perimeter pilots to join in - wake up, those are your pilots!
entertaining - far from it

Why have you gotten so cocky recently? I like your mix of bearded . norris pics, but there is no need to trash your competition.
Your single engine swiss machine is nice, and does provide an alternate method of travel but your company still isnt coming close to that of PAG.

Nope your right, where did I say they where even close to PAG? note I put Compititon in quotation marks.but your company still isnt coming close to that of PAG.
As for squat and douche I do this everyday, but seriously making fun of each other is just a pass time, just jokes. Then I overhear something like I overheard on labour day, I really thought ouch I would tell managment where to go being treated like that. Im just sticking up for the pilots that left that meeting feeling like shit.
Oh and ive always been this cocky. But I have more free time to whip it out and compare warts as I only work 11 days a month.

Just lost another one to CA. That's 2 in the last 10 days. If the captains are smart at PAG they will all leave. The last offer by management is an insult. 120 flight credit hours that includes overtime- what an insult. I hope more of the quality captains and first officers leave.
