A section of a recent news article with names blanked:

"As an astrophysicist, I want there to be aliens here," Matthews told the crowd in his own lecture that followed Friedman's. "I'm not convinced."

Delegates such as [anonymous commercial pilot], expressed disgust that believers get marginalized.

"I'm sick and tired of the press covering (UFOs) as just something drunks saw on a beach," the [anonymous commercial pilot] said after hearing Friedman speak.

The [anonymous commercial pilot] said he's seen several things through a cockpit window that he couldn't explain, including a bright orange ball that drifted across the sky once during a flight over Atlantic Canada.

But his friend and fellow pilot [another anonymous commercial pilot] , who is also a delegate at the two-day conference, said he's never seen anything unusual in two decades he's been flying.

"That doesn't mean I think he's crazy," The [another anonymous commercial pilot] said, gesturing to [anonymous commercial pilot].

Personally, I'm sticking with "No comment" the next time I'm talking to a reporter about UFO's, but KUDOS to them for their forthrightness.

Neither of these was the twin otter captain with the tin foil hat. Thats another story altogether. No...these are just two more wackos in the industry.

Lets just clear up a few things here.

I attended out out shear curiosity and it burned up an evening and a day.

I made it very clear clear that I HAD NEVER SEEN ANYTHING unusual.

Besides.................you guys can laugh and tease all you want BUT I assure you.........if one day something does actually land on the White House lawn you jokesters will probably be the first ones clawing your way to the TV to see whats going on.

This turkey has no clue who we are yet has the balls to make a comment like this.

Oh..........I see he is from Penticton. It only makes sense that he can make an assumption like this as about 99% of the tourist industry in HIS area is derived from the B.S. lies they produce about the OGOPOGO.

First off....I was just joking around....apparently I don't take this forum quite as seriously as you do.

Secondly....it seems referring to you as a "wacko" has hit a little too close to home.

No I don't know who you are, nor do I want to...and yes I'm sure what you've forgotten about this industry can fill buckets.

Just take it easy there Farva....I did not set out to offend you.

BTW...out of curiosity, did you wear your pilot uniform to the UFO convention?
