Does anybody have any compagnies to suggest for somebody with M1 & M2 experiences. looking in the Abbotsford Pit-Meadows Area.

Job Description

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
AME - M Mechanic (Experienced Only)


We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – M (AME M) who will be responsible for repairing and overhauling Boeing 737, 757 and military C130 aircraft.



The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) performs aircraft maintenance, repairs and overhaul applicable to their trade and completes the associated documentation in accordance with industry standards, and Cascade Aerospace policies and procedures. Assist and coach junior technicians as required.



You will ensure all repairs/modifications and inspection tasks, the return of the customer aircraft in safe and serviceable condition and that all paperwork, documentation and reporting associated with a repair is completed accurately by performing all work tasks in accordance with the customer’s check package, Transport Canada Regulations (CARS), Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM), Quality Control Procedures (QCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Process Standards (CPS), all maintenance, manufacturing and policy manuals, and scope of your certification authority.



You will also provide coaching and leadership to junior technicians to ensure work tasks are performed efficiently and accurately, and appropriate skills to progress in the trade are developed. As well you will ensure all work tasks are performed in accordance with Cascade Aerospace health and safety policies and procedures.



Those who qualify by holding the appropriate licenses and endorsements may also be responsible for inspection. Experience in a leadership role will be an asset.



As an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - M you will possess your AME (M2) license or equivalent experience and have experience from intermediate to advanced level with Boeing 737, 757 and/or commercial narrow-body jet or regional aircraft and/or military C130 aircraft. A B737and/or B757 endorsement would be an asset but is not necessary. Please list any endorsements or courses you may have in your resume.

Specific knowledge of manufacturing, maintenance, repair and modification of aircraft or systems and components in the area of the following trade: Mechanic.

Ability to ensure that approved standards of Quality Control are maintained

Training and Experience


Education:

Grade 12 Diploma

Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (approved by TCA or the applicable governing body)

Holder of full ACA Authorizations in accordance to Cascade Quality Control Procedures



Experience:

48 + months experience performing AME duties

Holder of AME license or Certification Authority within the scope of their trade




Industry Experience
Aircraft Maintenance / Aerospace / CC130 DND/Military
