Novajet operates a Falcon 10 out of YYZ atm.
They will be adding a Falcon 20 shortly, at least according to gossip, rumor and innuendo.

They seem like a decent outfit.

No idea on the schedule, but they are 100% charter so I imagine you would be flying a fair amount.

We publish a 6 on 3 off schedule, 30 days before the effective date. Pay for the Falcon 10; Captain $70,000.00; First Officer $45,000.00.

Cheers,

Greg

c_dub:great, another poster with comments of things he knows nothing about, namely aircraft management. If you don't like it when pictures don't portray a product to your liking, I would suggest you start with your own companies web site (CAC I believe) that has pictures of heliskiers, sailboats and whale whatchers. I will apologize if your company actually provides those services pictured.

A schedule on a business jet is becoming a rarity nowadays, and $70 a year to start on a charter Falcon 10 is a lot more than or at least on par with many charter companies that fly heavier iron, ie. G100, L45, L60, etc. You could do far worse than working for a guy who has the pilots best interests at heart, good trips, good perdiems, and in the end a secure job with a growing company, or if it isn't for you, a probable bee-line to the airlines or to the few remaining top corporate jobs after a few easy years.

I know several guys with jet time that would love the job if they weren't stuck with promissary notes/bonds.

We don't have any minimum numbers set in stone but basically we look for someone that we can upgrade to captain in a year. So an ATPL is a must. Total time of about 3000 hours. Captain time on something turbine. I'm not huge on it having to be multi turbine, however high performance time is always nice.

Cheers,

Greg

"You could do far worse than working for a guy who has the pilots best interests at heart"

I worked for C.B. when he was part owner of Flightexec and he would fire pilots on a whim (not me, so I'm not one of those "bitter" pilots). Maybe he has changed.

Most owners are partial a-holes, but wow, you stand as insinuating that Novajet is a poor employment choice because they will fire pilots on a whim. That is pretty bold. I can hardly imagine what you would say if you were one of those "bitter" pilots!!!

To clarify my post, I believe that as a pilot that your boss is the CP, which is who the job offer asks you to reply to, which is the fellow from Novajet that has been responding to this thread, which is who I was refering to. I believe he will stand by his pilots to a fault and I would be more than happy to work for him again, no matter who the owners were.

Good luck with your ongoing Jazz application.

I'm 100% behind bezerker here. One of the people involved with this company has assisted me in the past with information and career advice. Personally I wouldn't care what people speculate or speak of second hand information (one persons "whim" is another persons TC infraction or justified reason...not everyone has to explain themselves) if I was available I would be all over this like a fat kid on a smartie !
Hell I have a great job with great people and a bright future on the path that I'm on...and I still wish I could work for them.
Great people, and you know it from the moment you speak to the secratary to the moment you exit the office.

Thanks, but you must have me confused with someone else. My comment was not aimed at the CP.

I stand corrected. I guess that I've been too busy flying to update. Don't have as much free time on my hands to read all the posts.

I heard there was a change in management/ownership. May be just a rumour though.
