Plane off Runway in Labrador
October 3, 2007

There was an incident at the military airport in Goose Bay today involving a non-military aircraft. The plane left the runway just after it had landed. The two pilots on board were not injured and there was no fuel leak from the aircraft, however the runway was shut down. 5-Wing instead diverted traffic to the other runway with no impact on operations. Transport Canada has been notified.
Does anyone have any more information regarding this?

It was an Aero Commader belonging to the NL Government. Gear Collapse-no pax's, no injury. A/C should be ferried to base at YAY tomorrow.

The gear had a short distance to collapse. 8)

Looks like GWT is on the way back to YAY right now from what I can see on a flight tracker.

Must not be too much damage if they're ferrying it.
