From what I heard most aircraft are a bit older and they have to rely on their 24 hour maintenance to get them in the air the next morning (lots of snags when u get back, but atleast they are looked at). The aircraft do seem really busy though.
I was told the pay is really shitty, starting on the king air 200 for a whopping 40k-42k and max out at 50k after 5 years and I think the 1900 is starting at around 42k or so and max out at 59k after 5 years, all this for flying 85 hrs/mos.
However I hear management is top notch!
So from what I gathered mangement treats you great, and if you don't mind flying old aircraft for not a whole lot of cash and want to fly quite abit, give it a shot!

Saskatchewan, as a rule, used to pay better for the same work than Manitoba and Ontario. Now if you see what their government flying jobs pay, that's sure not the case anymore. The upside is that some of the towns there are not too bad and they are relatively cheap to live in.
And you have to fly a long way to find anything higher than a cow to hit!

"What's it doing now?"
"Fly low and slow and throttle back in the turns."

Well the pay is among the lowest in the industry on all aircraft. 1900 cap starts at around 45 and f/o around 30. ATR cap less than 60 and f/o just over 30. fly monday to friday usually have weekends off. like someone said lots of snags at night and with more and more A/C all the time maintenance is getting swamped and the A/C aren't getting the TLC that they used to. everything is alot more disorganized than it used to be since the rapid growth and things don't seem to be improving. slow upgrades mixed with shitty pay = a long time of making shitty money. managment seems to care but is becoming out of touch with the employees. all a/c are kept outside so you better get used to operating a broom to brush frost or de-icing the thing with a garden sprayer. and with 15 a/c and only two hermans you'd better start tipping the rampies so its your plane that has been warmed up in the am. and you better get along real well with the other flight crew b/c the flight planning room consists of 4 computers on a counter 10 feet long for over 60 pilots to share. but on the bright side they have a nearly unlimited supply of day old pressurized tim hortons dough nuts
