Job question

Post by futboler14 »

Just a quick question. I put a resume into a company and have not heared back for about 3 weeks. There website says "Please no calls". Is it o.k for me to send off an email? I believe they still know I'm in school and ill be done at the end of this month, could this be the reason also?

Thank-You

I agree with Frog. To long in advance and I'd pitch the Resume. Try a couple weeks before you can actually roll your box into the shop.
If your in the area of Submission drop by the shop on a slack day and introduce yourself, may help your cause. (Make sure it looks like a slack day otherwise they may not like it.) (On the other hand you'll be noticed!)

Best way to get a job after you are done school. Simply show up at the hanger, take a look around, or even better yet start helping out with whatever needs to get done. Introduce yourself to someone who might look important and see where that takes you. Seen it work many a times.
Good Luck!

We have a kid "working" for us right now. He is interested in being an AME so he wants to hang around and get to know the ropes a bit. So he volunteers a few days a week, to do what ever he can do.

He seems to be a good worker so we will see how he is after he gets out of school.

It never hurts to just stop by, show your face and see if you can help a bit.

Good luck.
