Nacho-- that Brazilian wasn't trying to intimidate you or didn't think you were a threat, , he probably thought that old Thrush you were flying was terminally ugly and was just trying to decide if he should put it out of it's misery.

Hi Nacho,

Your pic is pretty cool. Would you paste it in Pic from a Swamper?

When I was young, as we were passing Homestead AFB in a 172 inbound for the Keys, the tower gave me a traffic at my 6 o'clock, 5 o'clock, 4 o'clock and then 3 o'clock.

It was a pair of F4U Phantoms with the guys waving us, thumbs up, gear and flaps all down, trying to stay beside us for a few seconds.

Snowshoe,

I thinks he came after me cause I dropped from 15 000 to 2000 in a very short period of time after I crossed the Pacaraima Sierra and couldn't get in touch with Boa Vista. Thrushes might not be the best looking but sure the hell beats flying an AT having to flap them every turn, not to mention ..I am a Garret fan.

RB,

I have some other pics in photobucket. not sure how to do the copy and paste thing.
