Anyone have anything to say about Telus coverage in Manitoba?

Pilots flying north out of Winnipeg, do you find Telus covers most of the places Manitoba Tell covers?

Telus isnt that good up around northern MB (YTH and surrounding). MTS is pretty much your only option. I moved up here with a FIDO which became a paper-weight. Roger's also doesnt have service up here. Telus does, but its hit and miss. If you have Bell, it will transfer over to MTS (and if you leave MB with MTS contract, Bell will take it over).

Yup found it pretty screwed up that my phone worked in far flung places like cambodia vietnam out in AUS and NZ. Thompson ..............nope its a whole different world up there.

The coverage map on the Telus page says they do cover Thompson.

Rogers/Telus will tell you that they do cover Thompson and charge you for it, but trust me, they most certainly do not. This will lead to a long standing dispute, the result of which will be you not paying your bill due to outright lying on their part, which will in turn lead to them sending you to a collection agency which you will also refuse to pay. Take it from me.
Bell does, however, cover Thompson. Go with Bell.

Telus works in norway house, thompson, the pas, flin flon, etc. when you head west from MB no issues with telus, east is another story...
