Can one rent a plane in the US with a Canadian license???

Not sure what its like these days but, I think it use to be with a Canadian CPL you are granted a US PPL with a quick written test. then your good to rent.

No written test.....just handed you a License! May have changed now though, the Yanks are pretty anal after 9/11.
