Springbank to Mumbai
I'm ferrying a Navajo from Springbank to Mumbai and was wondering if anyone out there knew of a website that gave long range weather forecasts (say a week or more). Just looking to get a feel for what the weather will be like enroute (already looked at weather underground).
Cheers

Go to a handling company to make sure all permits/arrangements are made. they'll also get the flight permits, customs, everything up to weather, they may charge 5K but when your sitting in some shithole jail, because"your papers are "not in order", you could do it yourself, but why take the chance.
I have the trip planned and everything is arranged, and in fact Colt does touch stuff without Turbines engines.
Just looking for a website with some general weather treads for the next couple of weeks

We just got back from a flight to India. It would have been impossible had we not used a handler. We use Universal.
http://www.universalweather.com
They have a whole bunch of wierd city pairings already in their computers so they can save you having to plan the route yourself.
If you hire them, be advised, they ain't cheap, but when it hits the fan far from home all you have to do is call them and they will sort out all your problems with a, "Got you covered Captain!"
They have their own fuel card and they also have a network of their own handlers in Russia, China and India. (I assume that you are going via Alaska)
Good luck on your adventure.
Personally, I don't go anywhere without using them...and I go to an awful lot of places.

Amazing how asking about the weather get's you a bunch of help about handlers and permits.
The long term forecast for your trip to India is as follows: There is a 100% chance it's going to be drunk out.

Again just looking for a long term weather forecast website.
And Ballsssssss you know it buddy, get ready for hangovers from cheap Indian beer. See ya in Germany dude.

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no
After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.
