Mainline interviews
Has anyone heard if or when mainline will be conducting interviews for Jazz pilots again?

Mainline Interviews
I think you'll get a WestJet interview way before any at Mainline!!
Re: Mainline interviews
who cares... you will never get on mainline from Jazz...
Re: Mainline interviews
They're starting in January again. Contrary to what qwert says, the ratio of hired vs pfo'ed was within 3% of that from off the street people.

Re: Mainline interviews
Haven't heard anything about interviews. I did hear a rumor from several sources that they were planning on hiring a higher percentage of Jazz pilots.

Re: Mainline interviews
AC has decided to increase the pace at which Jazz pilots, who have reserved numbers, transition to Air Canada. 48 of them at last count. As hiring slows and the economy slows FLT OPS doesn't want to get caught with their pants down. IE promised jobs to Jazz pilots with no positions left for them.
In light of that I believe most of the courses since Oct/Nov have had a high percentage of Jazz pilots on them. This will continue until the back log is reduced to a manageable number that reflects the realities of Air Canada's hiring needs in the short term. Translation .......about April I think is the last I heard.
