Calling all B200 Medevac Pilots
Hello, I am trying to put a list together to find out how much companies are paying their King Air Medevac Captains and First officers. I would also like to know what your schedule is like and if there is a bond. If you could also state what company you work for that would really help.
Thanks for your time.

Thanks .. . for your reply and the links you attached. I actually did a search and found those but I am trying to get specific information. I am in the process of putting together a package of salary info to take to management. So I need the company’s name, schedule, and pay info. The company I am currently at seems to think that it is industry standard to pay a Medevac captain on a King Air $45,000 with a two week on and two week off schedule and $10 000 Bond.
Captain: $45000 + $5000 bonus if you stay a year.
FO: $28000
2 weeks on, 2 off 24 hours a day on call.
No Bonds
We are also looking to do the same thing with our management.

Here is an idea
-dont work for companys that ask you to pay them money up front to fly their planes
-dont fly a king air doing medivac's for $45,000 a year
there are lots of good companys out there looking for pilots right now, stop paying to work for the shitty ones!

The Borek boys/gals are making well over 60K.
At Voyageur I was making 50K plus bonus back in 2001.
I know another company in the eastern Artic that is paying 90K for a month in, month out.
The southern based companies pay less.
Don't take it, if your there leave, tell them to stuff the bond - there not legal anyway.
If you paid upfront it's your own damn fault.
Why are any pilots agreeing to bonds and low pay with the industry the way it is, especially in the 703/704 world...

Now, I get home from a flight, I get to pop open a cold one, and think back to the phone calls I used to get, just as I sat down to a nice meal with my family. Hah! No more! I USED to fly B200s on medevacs. Hated it. Of all the medevacs I flew, I think there were maybe four that were REALLY medevacs. Maybe. Now, every time I hear...".......705 medevac...." I smile, knowing somebody is rushing to the aid of some poor bastard with a hang nail. Or even worse. Somebody is "unhappy". Have at her, kids. It should be all about the time off, and the pay cheques!
Now if we can just get the thoughtless prick who trains his (ten thousand dollar) new hires to do holds on the FAF at YXL in IMC while he stacks up four aircraft waiting for approach clearances from ATC, to grow some common sense, things would go a lot smoother.
And that's the bottom line.
I'll get flamed for this but, I don't care. It's what I do.
Captains are worth 55-65K, on a good day.
Co-pilots should be going for 25-35K, totally depending on time with the operation, etc. Total time shouldn't be an issue here.
NOBODY should be DUMB enough to PAY any company for a job.
Let's face it, you're all (VERY few exceptions here) just in it till Jazz calls!
