SGL

Post by DA42 »

Hey what have you guys heard about Sander Geo out of Ottawa? What kind of hours are they looking at? Checked out there website and it didn't list an hours requirement for fixed-wing. Looks like an interesting global operation. Saw they have a few DA42's. Just got my multi ifr on one. Think that would help in a job?

Thanks guys.

For starters - an older thread but not much has changed I think:

Not sure about current hour requirements but I know they hire "lower" time guys/gals for Caravan FO. I'm not sure if their DA42s are survey-equipped as of yet... not sure your DA42 experience would help you get a job there... really, it's just another light twin when it comes down to it. A survey company is generally looking more for someone who can work well both on time off and time on with a crew for a couple of months on end... the flying is only a small part of the job.

Cheers
