Westjet's Customer Service Line

Post by bater »

Was very impressed when I called today to get flight numbers. Rang twice and a friendly, REAL voice answered! No "press 1 for this, press 2 for that.... please hold" and no overseas call centre either! Fast, friendly and helpful... Can't say the same for AC

So let me ask...did you call the 1-800 number or the 1-888 one? Both give "very friendly service" ...

They actually called me yesterday AFTER my flight on the 26th to ask how I was doing and whether I enjoyed it. Now I know that if my family abandons me, at least Westjet will still care.

I flew Westjet on the 26th as well, Calgary/Abbotsfore. They didn't phone me,
however I can't say enough about the way they treat their 'guests'. Much
continued success to them.

Actually,

It's because they're all chained to their desks at the Call Center located in Bieseker, they need to find out what's happenig in the outside world.....

When my wife and I were expecting our first, the nurse called and said that our doctor would be running late and that they would have to find another on staff. Well to my surprise Clive was in the hospital and after finding out we flew Westjet from Regina to Calgary he came in and assisted in our birth.

:prayer: thank god he was in the hospital.

I was on a westjet flight from Regina to Calgary not too long ago. One of the flight attendants was a real bitch to a passenger in one of the first two rows. I was literally stunned by her attitude. First that I have ever witnessed. I actually debated whether I should call someone and tell them that she slipped through the hiring system.

Tripleseven, I could be wrong, but I think your F/A might have some company in the "less than ideal Westjetter" category. I've generally thought that WJ employees were a pleasure to deal with (and most are!), but there are definitely some exceptions out there. I'm not going to retell my story...it's in the Westjet forum in a post entitled "Lack of Professionalism" if you want to read it. I too enjoy the fact that when I call WJ, it gets answered right away by a cheerful Calgarian. Having said that, let's hope these first signs of cracks in the squeaky clean image remain the exception, rather than becoming the norm.

In a world full of people, only some want to fly. Isn't that crazy?

unless someone complains, we can't fix the problem. Even worse, with that flight deck door closed, we pilots have no idea how our coworkers are behaving in the back. So, please do call that kind of stuff in. You can be sure there will be a follow up, and like anything, if there's a paper trail, if this happens repeatedly to the same person(ie: guests complaining about them) they'll no longer be around to give our customer service a bad name.

They always honk and wave while taxiing past Hangar 2 at CYHM.
