Asking a pilot about what he thinks of Transport Canada, is like asking a fire hydrant what does he think about dogs.

I can't help but notice, that even with the newly revised schedule, there is no mention of plans for games in April. This seems like a new cover on the same book so to speak.

Rumer has it that in toronto if you get caught speeding they give two tickets to a leafs game. If you get caught a second time they make you go to the game!!!

WOW did anyone else just watch the latest disaster between the Panthers and gutless Leafs?! Just when I thought the script couldnt' get any better, it does!

The nature of a Leaf fan is that of a driver who slows down to gawk at a car wreck.

No wonder they think they need an NFL team. Their CFL team sucks and their NHL team sucks. I don't even care enough about basketball to google their basketball team but I'll assume they suck too.

Right off, I gotta say I'm not Torontonian - hell, I can't even skate but I live in this fine city and love all it has to offer - BUT! WTF is it with the Leafs and the support they STILL GET based on a truly appalling record of lost games and mediocre performance? Where's the hunger to win? - where's the talent? - where's the petition demanding reduced rate/free tickets until their performance warrants the support? - HOLY CRAP - it wouldn't happen in any other sport, they would be run out of town in ballerina tu-tu's (no offence to practicing ballerinas) to congratulate each other on another crappy result and spend the huge piles of cash they still get for doing absolutely SFA.

I wonder what the excuse will be for the next 8-0 beating they take? - "oh, let's pull the lever on the random excuse generator and see what it says........." Fire all their sorry asses and let some new talent that deserves to be there take over.

Rant over.

I just had a yyz centre guy last week tell me things would be different in the "new building". Are the leafs coming to Copps in YHM!?!?!...because I took a poll...and we don't want them.

They won their division last year. Solid playoff contenders this year, one player away from joining the elite. Shouldn't assume. :smt018

Ya but it's still Toronto so I stand by my assumption :-)
