Anyone got an offer yet?

Or know when we should expect to get an answer from them? I called but all they can tell me is "As early as Feb 1st"

I checked at the ontario colleges website a few days ago and I was accepted.

you got accepted already??? what are your grade 12 marks and courses. I haven't heard anything from them yet.

None of my grade 12 marks were available to them when I got the offer. I think they saw the courses I am taking this year (12U physics, chemistry, earth and space, advanced functions, calculus and vectors) and looked at my grade 11 average which was around 78-80%.

Is it a conditional offer? do you have to keep a certain average for the rest of the year? are you going to confirm it? haha sorry about all the questions. just curious.

Hey guys, I was also offered admission, I already have my Gr.12 Math and English, I think they may have based my admission on my gr12 sem 1 marks and those that I did before. Don't worry guys, its still preety early.

I am actually a mature student so I can't compare with you guys.

However, the marks they are using is 88 in a college english course and 79 in grade 12 college technology math that I just finished...

Did you guys get offers in the mail or are you just going by ontariocolleges.ca??

I believe it is a conditional offer. I haven't received information from confederation yet. I only found out at the ontario colleges website. But Sault college did send me a package and it says "final acceptance will be granted upon successful completion of the following program requirements: O.S.S.D or equivalent and M.O.T. Category One". I assume it is the same for confederation..

And yea it's still pretty early. they started sending out offers only a few days ago so I'm sure it'll come soon.

I'am getting offers thru the OCAS website, the mail takes a little longer to come, I think all offers at this time are conditional, unless you have met all requirements, for me it was just complete an CAT 1 medical and O.S.S.D. Good luck everyone!

I have Uni English at 83, Math for College Technology at 80, and the courses I had last sem was Data Management at 70, Economics at 85, and a social science course at 76. I think my overall avg for Confed was 81%, and i believe it was the same for Sault.

Ok quick question regarding courses and marks. I took Grade 12 data management in grade 11 and got 74% and took grade 12 advanced functions this year and got a whopping 54%. Would they take the data or the functions? and i have english and college math this semester. If they took data management, my grade 11 english, and my next two highest, i would have an 81%, and if they took my functions i would have 75%. good enough?

I cant remember if it was Sault or Confed that i talked with, but one of them said they will not accept Data Management as part of the math requirement. In that case yes they would take your advanced functions mark unfortunately. I think it was Sault that said that. But either ways I think you should be fine with a 75% avg. Last year the Lowest mark that was offered admission was 62%. So there is still hope.

I still haven't heard. Did you just go to ontariocolleges.ca and click confirm, log in and it said "you have 1 active offer of admission"?

Yup. I was checking my e-mail because i thought they would email you once you get an offer. But apparently not. Just sign into ontariocolleges.ca and click "My application" at the top..."Offers of addmission" and it will be listed there. Keep checking. I was accepted february 1st but it didn't show up on the site until the 6th.
