Mississauga noise signs

Post by abc xyz »

After dropping the old lady off at work this morning I saw these new signs that Mississauga has put up telling everybody about aircraft noise. They were right under the flight path to rwy 5 on Mavis. Good idea or bad???? Obviously they have evolved because somebody got sued or good ole Hazel is getting soft.

Or the ever popular signs on the roof campaign to give pilots something to laugh about.

Doesn't it just make you want to go right overhead at 50 ft at full power?

LOL, that reminds me of the guy at the end of 24 at YSN. He's always up to some crazy scheme, I think the airport even has a restraining order against him. I don't even think he owns the place there, just a renter.

Anyway, he used to mow F**K OFF PILOTS into his lawn all the time!

I personally recommend a big sign that says "Welcome to Brantford". That would get some attention!

25 feet if I'm thinking about landing in uncontrolled airspace in his neighbour's yard, in which at the last minute, I spied a person and/or unsafe frog which made me overshoot in the interests of safety. In a 747.
