mental cal
I have a couple of exams to get soon and I need to practice a bit the rules of three, but through mental calculus. Anyone have any viable suggestions as to where I can find something usefull to practice?

Ok I'll explain this better. I am applying to the CQFA for Chicoutimi. Thing is, I know there are a series of mental cal questions, for which you have about 30 seconds I know there are also some visual and spatial orientation evaluations. What I wanted to know, is if there are any pilots here whom would have any didactical material to suggest for my study. I really have to ace these exams, so that I can pass to the second part of the interview, which is meeting the commitee and passing the Wombat test.Slappy the Squirrel wrote:WTF?
Such material would fall into this kind: websites having mental cal questions pertaining to aviation (rules of 3), calculating speed and altitude, fuel, distance to destination, amount of fuel needed. Also, diverse shapes, deformed cubes, or visual orientation exercises. I searched the forum, and the web, but being a noob, I haven't found anything up to this moment. The questions can be either in french, english or spanish, I don't care as long as they're pertinent. I think you guys get the idea...
