So you don't think anyone should be allowed to question the validity of a law? Or just Sikhs? Or is it just people who aren't white?C-GGGQ wrote:I don't want to live in saudi arabia, I like canada, I like the majority of our laws. If i went to saudi arabia i would not think that i could follow my old laws from canada. which is what this guy is doing. The law in Canada is you have to wear a helmet, no ifs ands or buts. If i don't wear a helmet in canada i expect to be fined. If i stole something in the middle east I would expect the normal punishment. You follow a countries laws.
For the record, I think it would be idiotic to ride without a helmet, but I don't see why a person shouldn't be allowed to challenge a law if they don't see it to be fair, or if it's just not appropriate.
Wikipedia indicates that there are 278k Sikhs in Canada, so divide that by two to get 139k people who wouldn't be wearing a helmet - assuming every single Sikh male was riding a motor cycle. WHO THE @#$! CARES!? You poor WASPs... you're so underrepresented, and you're all gonna be wiped out by the minorities!! SAVE US!
