? about IFR validity w.r.t. having to (re)do written

Post by righthandman »

My ATP lic. says Group 1 I.R. valid to 2003/09/01---

Do I need to redo the IFR written exam at this point or am I good until the end of August this year to renew the IFR rating by just doing a flight test?

I would really, really appreciate a Yes (you have to write) or No (you do not need to write) answer rather than having someone quote to me the regulations. For the life of me I don't understand the regs sometimes (except all the IFR stuff of course) :)

I plan to get back into the game in some capacity soon. Thanks in advance.

Thank You, Thank you Grey_Wolf...

That's easy enough for even me to understand. Really I think it's just that I don't have the patience for these things.

Good Lord, I was going to obviously study anyway; I just hate having to do test. Thanks again.
