Wanna' fly a ski-wheel 206 this winter, floats next summer?
I was just contacted by an operator in N.W. Ontario looking for a Cessna driver. You won't get rich, but you'll gain some valuable bush experience.
He's looking for some Cessna float time, preferably a couple hundred hours. Pay is $2000 a month, accomodation is provided. Sounded like a decent sort on the phone.
I don't think it's my place to post his name and number here, but feel free to PM me and I'll hand over the info.
This could be a low time pilot's big break...

I am betting this is based out of Sandy Lake. Am I close?

Returning to the Dock
If your working for these guys you must be able to carry all the criticism you get from other guys in the industry working for other operators on your back, as these guys often return to the dock because they cant get airborne. I know this because I watched it 5 differnt times this summer in Red Lake. One guy came back 2 differnt times because he had too much fuel and gear. They load them like Beavers up there.
The operators of that company are two of the best cessna pilots in this country. My time there was less than a year, but I was able to pick up on skills that I have yet to see used anywhere else. They can make those planes do what some Beaver pilots are not able to do! I am not saying that there aren't other pilots out there with great skills, but they are up there!
They would never make you push the weather and never make you fly in a situation or with a load where you don't feel right. Pay is not bad, but you have to remember that there is not much to spend your money on up there and there is always an all you can eat moose steak dinner every week! The "SR" pilots there are some of the best! You can and will learn a lot from them, both good and bad. For the most part, on the good side.
Keep up the good work guys!

Guys and gals, I spoke with this guy for ten minutes three months ago.
I wouldn't recognize him if I bumped into him on the street.
I am not affiliated with his company, nor do I have any pull.
I was just simply steering anyone with 206 time in the right direction.
Please stop PM'ing me! I'm sure the job was filled last October!
Thanks, and best of luck, 180.
