Hi Flybabe. does your new airplane have the outboard jets on it?
The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no
After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

Yes it does - standard equipment on all of our machines

Courage is the price that life exacts for granting peace. The soul that knows it not, knows no release from the little things; knows not the livid loneliness of fear, nor mountain heights where bitter joy can hear the sound of wings.

Congradulations on finally getting into the fire suppression business Flybabe......and getting on such a nice airplane.
Here is a hint that may help take the boredom of sitting on fire bases day after day waiting for a scramble more productive......find something constructive to do that will maybe make you some spare cash or earn you a degree in something to fall back on when you can no longer fly.....
........the fifteen years I spent on fire bases playing poker and watching porn movies haven't done me much good as far as raising my education standards or making some spare cash...
As an example this is about as wrong a statement as you could think up..
In the final analysis, in a conversation after the meeting the Director General told me he was assigned to my case because I had all on my own beat their whole legal department in the Department of Justice in Ottawa...
If that is not getting TC's respect what would you call it?

You may not be new to the industry girl in flight but judging by your comments here on this thread you don't know anything about me or who / what I am.thanks flybabe, Im fully aware who cat is,and im not new to the industry by a long shot.

I received the highest form of respect that TC could give any member of the aviation community.....the Director General Transport Canada spent a full day in my home and then another full day in a hotel business room with me dealing with the problem he has with Merlin Preuss and a few of Prusse's top managers who were found to be guilty of dishonesty and disregard for rule of law due to my taking legal action against them.Maybe Cat! thats abit of a contraindication, did you not think that you earned it? and obviously didnt get it with TC . No!

After over a half a century of flying I can not remember even one trip that I refused to do that resulted in someone getting killed because of my decision not to fly.
