Straight Air is in southern Labrador. From what I know they're a pretty good company. Got a Beaver, Islander, Navajo and King air 90.

I think they just got the medevac contract with the king air for the quebec north shore, that should help them out i'd presume. Met the owner a couple of times, seems like a pretty decent fellow who's been in the business for a while now.
Re: Strait Air New Foundland
from what I heard, they need at least 1 fo. 2 weeks on 2 weeks off 35k a year.
The Best safety device in any aircarft is a well-paid crew.

Re: Strait Air New Foundland
Just curious for any more information on this company, and updates to whats here already.
Re: Strait Air New Foundland
They had a BE90 FO position available beginning of this year, the salary was 25K with a 2 weeks ON, 2 weeks OFF rotation. It increases to 28K after 3 months.
They don't pay for your flight ticket to gets there (there are no roads in Blanc Sablon). After paying your flight ticket (around $ 1200 a round trip from montreal with Provincial) you take home around $ 400. (and that without considering food expenses) Sweet deal, isn’t it?
Hope it helps.

Re: Strait Air New Foundland
I flew with the owner, Ron, 20 some years ago for a few years, he is a straight forward stand up guy. I presume his operation reflects that and it would be a decent place to work.
If you are going there you can drive there through NFLD and take a ferry across the straits from St. Barbe I believe to Blanc Sablon. In the winter it runs subject to ice conditions in the straits. And you would want your car.
Might be different options rather than the 2 on, 2 off mentioned above. I lived there a few years, not necessarily a place so isolated that you have to rotate into.
