Hi, Ive just recently have been accepted to the Conestoga Aviation Program and will be attending Sept 08. Anyone else attending Conestoga sept 08?

waitlisted on confederation which i might still have a chance. but if not ive been accepted out in BC at Selkirk college's program.

Conestoga is only an hour away. GL to people going to confederation though I hope you get in. I was told some years they go right threw the waiting list so chances are particularly high for people on waiting list.

In my opinion Cofederation is somewhat exactly the same as Conestoga. Except the Location of course, If Confederation does have this many applicants on the waiting list their may be a good chance most of us wont get in, how many applicants do they take 40? i doubt most of them will in fact make another career decision before may 1st.

i think its 60 or 65 students. only difference is confederation has the better reputation and you save like 40 thousand by going there because of the government funds that are available to the program.

I'de say people on the wait list still have a pretty good shot. Even though the information given by the admissions office at confed has been proven to be quite unreliable... they told me that last year they got all they way down to kids with averages in the low 60's from the waitlist. good luck to all.

ps. they take 65 students into first year.

Heading off to College to be a pilot and has no idea where Thunder Bay is located, a city of 120,000 people. What did you do sleep thru Geography class? Well just so you know it is located right on the Trans Canada highway on the northwestern shore of Lake Superior. Best you stick to southern Ontario!

No, and yea I did sleep threw my geography class, those were good times, and when the exams came I got the highest mark, how ironic! No, and yea I did sleep threw my geography class, those were good times, and when the exams came I got the highest mark, how ironic! Oh, and in terms of Conestoga, it seems pretty good. Apart from the winnebago paint jobs , the fleet looks to be in great condition, and Waterloo's a great airport. Plus you don't have to go too far away to find a whole bunch of nice uncontrolled airports, something that's a little more scarce on the east side of YYZ.

I guess for some $40 grand is a small difference. My class started with 69, finished with 36
