Re: Black Hole
A black hole is a region of space in which the gravitational field is so powerful that nothing can escape after having fallen past the event horizon. The name comes from the fact that even electromagnetic radiation (e.g. light) is unable to escape, rendering the interior invisible.

Re: Black Hole
Troll by chance? Or are you talking about black hole effect? The errors one can have with visual cues/acceleration error of your inner ear. I've buried 4 friends because of this (CFIT) both on go arounds from messed up approaches, so do take it with some degree of seriousness. A black hole takeoff/circling approach/landing/go around is to be taken with the same level of awareness as an ILS to mins.

Re: Black Hole
What the 1 in 3 rule? for every 1 mile back, be 300' AGL. so, 2 miles = 600' and so on. Works out pretty good if ya have a RAD ALT and know the area. I use it when descending on a Non precission as a mental backup to the visual cues.

Re: Black Hole
Okay! Here is a thread that really makes no sense and never will.....
Re: Black Hole
First of all, any post made on a Friday night at 11:30pm is probably a drunken troll.
Second, this is obviously a drunken troll post. If it wasn't, KAFUFO would have been Darwin'd already.

Ahh, it looks like KAFUFO has some Saturday-morning clarity of thought, what with deleting every one of his posts and all.

I notice his other threads on the same topic in other forums are gone.

Success in life is when the cognac that you drink is older than the women you drink it with.
